Op sommige plaatsen kunnen ze worden toegepast op HT-niveau. De gebruikelijke toepassingsgebieden zijn:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Elektriciteitscentrales: Generatorcircuits regelen en beveiligen<br>Transmissie- en distributieonderstations: zowel op subtransmissie- als op distributieniveau.<br>Industri\u00eble installaties: Bescherm motoren, transformatoren en andere apparatuur tegen overstroom en kortsluiting.<br>Spoorwegelektrificatie: Voor het schakelen en beschermen van het spoorwegsysteem.<br>Commerci\u00eble gebouwen: Voor stroomverdeling op middenspanning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wat is het verschil tussen SF6- en vacu\u00fcmvermogenschakelaars?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SF6 stroomonderbreker:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Medium: Maakt gebruik van zwavelhexafluoridegas als boogverbrandingsmedium.<br>Spanningsbereik: Normaal gebruikt in hoogspanningstoepassingen, vaak boven 36 kV.<br>Arc Quenching: SF6 is een van de beste gassen omdat het elektronen kan absorberen, isolatie mogelijk maakt en boogvlammen kan doven.<br>Schakeleigenschappen: Het geeft een zeer effici\u00ebnte boogonderdrukking zonder veel energieverlies.<br>Onderhoud: Er is meer onderhoud nodig in vergelijking met VCB's omdat er gebruik wordt gemaakt van het gas SF6, dat op de juiste manier moet worden behandeld omdat het een broeikasgas is.<br>Milieueffecten: SF6 is een superbroeikasgas dat gevaarlijke milieuaspecten kan hebben als er lekkage optreedt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vacu\u00fcmonderbreker (VCB):<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Medium: Gebruikt een vacu\u00fcm als boogvormend medium.<br>Spanningsbereik: Meestal gebruikt in middenspanningssystemen, tot 36 kV.<br>Boogdoving: De boog wordt gedoofd in een vacu\u00fcm; ionisatie en recombinatie vinden snel plaats in de boog, waardoor deze dooft.<br>Schakelkarakter: Specifiek geschikt voor herhaaldelijk gebruik met een goede breekcapaciteit.<br>Onderhoud: Minder onderhoud, vergeleken met SF 6 brekers, dankzij volledig afgesloten vacu\u00fcmkamers zonder problemen met de omgang met gas.<br>Invloed op het milieu: Milieuvriendelijk, geen schadelijke gassen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wat is de reden voor VCB aan HT-zijde?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>VCB's worden veel gebruikt aan HT-zijde, vooral voor middenspanningstoepassingen, vanwege de hoge betrouwbaarheid en verwaarloosbare onderhoudsvereisten met milieuvoordelen. Enkele van de redenen zijn:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hoge betrouwbaarheid: De isolator van de vacu\u00fcmonderbreker heeft uitstekende isolerende eigenschappen in combinatie met een zeer hoge di\u00eblektrische sterkte en geeft een uitstekende bluskarakteristiek voor de vlamboog.<br>Lange levensduur: VCB's hebben een maximale levensduur in vergelijking met andere stroomonderbrekers. Ze zijn zeer onderhoudsarm dankzij de vacu\u00fcmkamer.<br>Er is geen gasbehandeling nodig: VCB bevat geen broeikasgassen, in tegenstelling tot SF6-vermogensschakelaars. Het percentage is dus veel milieuvriendelijker.<br>Frequente werking: VCB's kunnen een oplossing blijven voor veelvuldig gebruik zonder veel slijtage. Ze zijn dus vooral geschikt voor gebieden waar herhaaldelijk wordt geschakeld.<br>Snelle boogdoving: Het vacu\u00fcm zorgt voor een schone, snelle boogdoving met minimaal energieverlies en is goed voor HT-schakeldoeleinden in industri\u00eble en voedingssystemen.<br>VCB's worden gebruikt voor middenspanningstoepassingen van HT omdat deze een afweging maken tussen prestaties, betrouwbaarheid en milieuveiligheid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Samenvatting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>VCB's en SF6-stroomonderbrekers zijn veelgebruikte apparaten met een breed toepassingsgebied; VCB's zijn zeer geschikt voor middenspanningstoepassingen, voornamelijk vanwege de hoge schakelbetrouwbaarheid, de lage onderhoudsvereisten en het milieuvriendelijke karakter van VCB's, zodat ze zeer geschikt zijn voor meerdere toepassingen. SF6 stroomonderbrekers hebben de voorkeur voor hoogspanningstoepassingen, voornamelijk vanwege de superieure vlamboogdoving, maar vereisen een zorgvuldige behandeling van SF6-gas om het milieu niet te belasten.
