De vlamboog koelt af door de lucht eromheen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vacu\u00fcmvermogenschakelaar (VCB): In dit type vermogensschakelaar wordt een hoog vacu\u00fcm gebruikt als blusmiddel. Een vlamboog wordt gedoofd in een vacu\u00fcmkamer waar de afwezigheid van deeltjes een snelle onderdrukking van de vlamboog mogelijk maakt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Arc Quenching-methode<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>ACB: Vertrouwt op luchtblazen of magnetisch uitblazen voor verlenging en koeling van de boog. Gewoonlijk is het ook voorzien van metalen contacten en boogkokers om de boog te geleiden en de energie van de boog te controleren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>VCB: Wanneer de contacten openen, wordt er een kleine boog gevormd. Deze boog wordt in het vacu\u00fcm snel gedoofd door condensatie van de metaaldamp die helpt bij het snel doven van een boog zonder hulpkoeling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Toepassingen<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>ACB's: Deze zijn gewoonlijk bedoeld voor toepassingen met een laag voltage, meestal tot ongeveer 1 kV, en worden daarom gebruikt in commerci\u00eble en industri\u00eble gebouwen, paneelborden en andere laagspanningssystemen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>VCB: Deze worden voornamelijk toegepast bij middenspanningen tot 36 kV of hoger. Ze zijn ideaal voor onderstations, industri\u00eble installaties en kritieke systemen die een betrouwbare vlamboogonderbreking vereisen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Onderhoud<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>ACB: Het onderhoud moet vaker worden uitgevoerd omdat de onderdelen worden blootgesteld aan lucht, wat oxidatie en erosie van de contacten kan veroorzaken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>VCCB: De levensduur is langer, omdat het vacu\u00fcm binnenin contactslijtage en vervuiling vermindert.
